The toxic Stibnite crystal is found in the depths of the Xikuangshan mine in Southern China. The crystal grows in sword like shapes in explosive clusters. This piece explores the map of the mining site, using fragments of Stibnite to form the veins of the mine and the higher planes of altitude. The preliminary structure of the map was then abstracted using geometric shapes and patterns.
